Get to Know Chiropractor
As a chiropractor, it’s strange to realize how much I take what we do for granted. I’ve always been able to rely on chiropractic adjustments to keep me healthy and strong, and I know firsthand the many benefits of consistent care.
A Personal Story That Changed Everything
She called me in tears. Tears of pain and fear. She couldn’t turn her head, and every tiny movement sent sharp waves of discomfort through her body. Her dad had scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor, but she’d never been adjusted before and was absolutely terrified.
Her neck hurt so badly that she couldn’t imagine anyone touching it, let alone helping it. She worried this would be her reality forever. Here she was, only 20 years old, thinking, “I’m too young for this kind of pain.” She looked to me for comfort, or some kind of reassurance that she wasn’t permanently broken.
I had been adjusted by a chiropractor hundreds of times. I grew up as a chiropractic patient, running around soccer fields as a little boy, trusting that my body could heal naturally. I was lucky, as I never experienced the kind of pain that finally drives most people to seek care.
That’s why it was so hard to help her see the hope I knew existed. The pain was drowning out everything else. And the hardest part? This woman was—and still is—incredibly dear to me. She taught me about the power of fear, and even more importantly, about the incredible things that happen when you overcome it.
Why Fear Stops Us From Healing
Fear is one of the most powerful emotions we experience. It’s an instinct designed to keep us safe, but it can also prevent us from doing something truly life-changing, like getting the care we need.
The short version of the story? Yes, she got help. And yes, I married that girl. She’s now the mother of our two beautiful kids and the one who supported me in following my passion and becoming a chiropractor.
I often wonder how different things would have been if her dad hadn’t made that appointment. What if she had let fear control her decision and tried to wait out the pain instead?”
Why I Give Back
I don’t want you suffering the way my wife did, especially when there’s real, lasting help available. People who are living with pain that’s controlling their daily lives deserve to know there’s another option.
That’s what drives me every single day. If you or someone you love is hesitant, in pain, or uncertain about trying chiropractic care, I want you to know: we’re here, the door is open, and we’ll take great care of you.
